Florida
Florida requires a registered agent with a Florida street address. Sunbiz is explicit: a post office box is not acceptable. The agent can be an individual or an entity with an active Florida filing — and an entity cannot serve as its own agent.
It is the address where the state and the courts reach your company. If a lawsuit is served and nobody receives it, the case moves without you. That is the entire reason the requirement exists, and it is why a mailbox service that forwards weekly is not the same product.
Anything served on your company is scanned and sent to you the day it arrives, by email and text message. Not weekly. Not when the batch goes out.
A Florida street address for your company record and your correspondence, with mail scanned the day it arrives. A word of caution that most providers skip: banks and payment processors run their own address checks, and some decline mailbox-type addresses. We tell you what ours is before you use it on an application, rather than after the bank says no.
We form LLCs in all 50 states. We are the registered agent in Florida only. In the other 49 we place you with a vetted agent and show you what it costs — we do not hide a markup inside a package.
